When an additional appropriation is rquired ungently in a case not involving new service and no savings are foreseen what action will be taken by the authority concerned ?

The authority concerned will incur expenditure and move for expost facto sanction

The Administrative Department itself may authorise additional appropriation without referring to finance

The authority will approach the Administrative Department and they in turn will approach the Finance Budget Division for additional authorisation

The implementation of the scheme may be deferred till the next financial year
