The period of currency of a duplicate cash order issued in lieu of a lost cash order after following the prescribed procedure in the Code (within the period of currency of the original cash order which was not encashed) is :

one month from the date of issue of duplicate cash order

four months from the date of issue of original cash order

three months from the date of issue of original cash order

three months from the date of issue of duplicate cash order
